This is by far one of my favorite IPAs. The drinkability is outstanding, the color is…screw it, I don’t know about what the taste of things is, and I don’t want to be a freaking shmuck that sits around telling you what the aroma is. Let’s just say that this is a solid beer. IT TASTES GOOD. That’s what you want to know, right? Whether you should drink something? Well. There you have it. Deschutes Inversion IPA is good and you should drink it.

19 years ago today, my little brother was born. Over that time he and I have had our differences, but there has always been one thing we agreed on: Batman. So in honor of his birthday, I relive one of my favorite memories of his toddler-hood: the sound we heard over the monitor: “na na na na na na na na na na…”
We had a young Batman fan on our hands. Happy birthday, Brent!

I never said I wouldn’t repeat…so why mess with a good thing?
The Total Domination IPA has a great smoothness, the bitter taste you want from an IPA, but enough balance to help you truly enjoy the beer itself. Definitely in my all-time top-5.
In honor of leap day, today is a quote from my favorite Indiana Jones film (don’t lose respect for me, at least it wasn’t that Shia LaBeouf debacle): The Last Crusade. It’s up there in my favorites partially because of Mr. Connery himself. Also, don’t miss one of my favorite Youtube clips ever.

Sounds terrifying
“Now, he who finds the Grail must face 3 challenges. First, is the path of God: Only the penitent man shall pass. Second, is the word of God: Only in the footsteps of God, shall he proceed. Last is the breath of God: Only in a leap from the lion’s head shall he prove his worth.”
